Hi again, well me and DH have had another serious chat and again he has very firmly said If you seriously want a baby we should get on with it NOW.

I should be over the moon and i am happy but i'm left feeling a little like a rabbit caught in the headlights.... Eeeeeeeeeeek!

The sensible side of me is still making excuses - the main one being that DH's work contract ends in January. 

Have I totally lost the plot or what?

You haven't lost the plot, you are just now dealing with the fact that its actually going to happen!  I felt like that at the beginning, thinking oh God we are TFAB and all sorts of thoughts were going through my head, they still do, but I know once it happens it'll be great!

If your DH is happy to start TTC despite his contract being up in Jan, then I'm sure he means it.  If he wasn't sure he'd say.  He may even feel that he has a good chance of getting another contract so isn't too worried.  So you needn't be worried either.   Just enjoy the 'trying'!

I'm going to start putting things into action - I've had my letter for a smear so need to get that sorted and in the meantime start on vits, it'll prob be december when i have my implant out, so a little breathing space but OMG so much to do so little time!

oh my gosh... same same same!

got my smear booked for monday! (never been so excited to have a smear before! - also figure i must get over the morbid embaressement of showing people my bits, if I am going to do this!)

think i might tell them we are trying. Figure the more people we tell (within reason of course) the less startled and surprising it feels and we might be able to get on with it.

Also am going to hang around this board if thats ok - had a quick glance at TTC and scared myself rigid - they also seem to speak in a code I am not up to speed with.
