Hey ladies.....

My name is Sharon (28...in December!) and i live with my DF, Brad (29) and all our animals!! We have a dog, rabbit, fish, 3 mice 2 geckos and a cat.

I joined IVillage back in sept i think and went to the TFAB......brad and I have been together for 10.5yrs and have never really used contraception...nothing has EVER happened and i have NEVER been PG, however we was really ttc#1 since May 2009.....then i lost my job through redundancy in July 2009 so have put off tfab for now..... :o(

Im a bit upset but would rather have a job behind me to bump up the earnings to save for a while so baby#1 has what they need........

We are however not going to use anything and if it happens it happens...I doubt it will!

Im also a type 1 diabetic though so dont want to wait ever-so long.....

I hope i have not rambled on for too long and hope to speak to you all soon

Hi Sharon, welcome to the board.
Sorry to hear you were made redundant, but I hope that you don't have to wait too long before finding a new job and you can start TTC again.

I'm Fi, I'm 32 (33 next week!) and TTC for our first baby, but after 6 months still not been too successful.

I saw your message on tfab and I'm sorry to hear that you've lost your job.  Hopefully it won't be too long before you are sorted.  You are very sensible to wait but who knows when your not trying.  Look forward to reading your posts.
