Message: to cut the story short after a brief relationship with a woman an unplanned pregnany occured
my problem is this-
when we went for the scan the nurse gave a date that they seemed to be measuring the pregnancy from, the thing is this date was two days before i had slept with her for the first time,i did mention at the time, and the nurse just laughed it off, saying something like "you were quick off the mark"
i dont believe this woman is deceiving me,but would appreciate it if anyone had any info/advice that would shed light on this,so i dont have this niggle in my head that i may be taken for a ride,is this date thing possible?
thanks

Hi canyoncowboy,

My understanding is the accuracy of the scans in terms of age can be anything upto 7 days either side.  The other factor to consider is the size of the baby, if its going to be a big baby then it may appear a few days older on the scan than it actually is.

Hope this puts your mind at ease.

Regards,

Graeme
