Hiya

Have you ever taken your kids to a music concert?  If so which one and did they enjoy it.

The reason I ask is because dd1 and 2 have asked me to take them to see Pink the next time she comes lol.  Both dh and I have been twice to see her and they love her songs when I play them in the car etc.  I always knew when they got older I would be asked to take them to see people but I didn't expect quite so soon lol.

Message: Depends how old your girls are,I wouldn't take kids to see Pink cos there's a fair amount of swearing in her lyrics and her subject matter is quite adult I think.I'd take kids to see suitable stuff like,um,can't think of anyone current but something like today's version of Steps or similar.I'd do it with gritted teeth though cos I hate that kind of thing but it'd be for them not me!

Hi Kathy,

I took my older 2 to see Pink this year but they are 18 and 14. I can't remember the ages of your DD's but think one of them is close in age to my youngest. I wouldn't take my youngest to a concert, not sure if I am being over protective but I think it is too loud and too crowded an atmosphere.

If you are really keen on taking them then it may be an idea to take them to a couple of similar things such as pantomine at a large theatre to see how they are and also if it holds their attention all the way through. The last thing you want is to pay all that money for them to be bored half way through!

Hiya

Oh the kids have been to shows etc.  I was just posing a question as opposed to advice.  I def think the kids are too little for pink but I used that as example the concert they asked me to go too lol.
