Hi,

Make your own bang-free fireworks this weekend!

Paint an old loo roll tube in a bright colour.
Use glitter glue and sequins to decorate the outside of the tube.
Make a 'fringe' of strips of foil or metalic papers (use 2 or 3 different colours for best effect).
Stick the fringes inside the top of the tube so the fringed edges explode out of the top of the tube.

Voila! Your own roman candle.

I did this with my 2 this week (ages 2 & 4) and they LOVED it.
