Hi all

This is a you tube download of a local BBC news report. I've watched and all ok....no viruses etc. Plus it gives a positive outlook of HE....thank goodness!

Has anyone else had this dreadful cough/cold that's doing the rounds here? I just can't seem to shake it off....the coughing is driving me mad!

Hi

Yes the cough is absolutely the worst part of it! why does it always start as soon as i go to bed!

College is going ok thanks. Dd has settled well and made lots of friends , which is good. However from my point of view I'm keeping an eye on some issues about lesson cancellations and disruptive students etc. She has one teacher who is totally ineffective against a group of boys that are taking over a maths class......just some of the reasons we took her out of school really!

Yep still coughing here!

Yes, college can be rather challenging what with behaviour isues. When I was teaching, it was years 8 and 9 who were the worse; after that the children got stuck into working for exams, or just got less silly. Sixth forms were always easy, behaviour wise Somehow though college seems to be a whole new area for trouble!
