What a well thought out and put together report. I dearly hope the decision makers take the time to read it and take it on board but i have no faith that they will or that it will make any difference.

What does everyone else think the likely outcome will be? How far do you think the reforms will be allowed to go?

I accept that some form of registration is likely to be pushed through , but are they really going to sanction compulsory entry into peoples homes? Or allow them to interview children without parents present?

I find the underlying threat of it all quite intimidating and I'm not easily cowed! Will the intrusion into private family life ever end!

I find myself going back to when when we first started HE , worrying about what hoops we'll be expected to jump through and if we'll past muster! I thought the days when i would be frantic because pen had not been put to paper in sufficient quantities , were long behind me....but it seems not!

It was my intention to HE our youngest dd when she finished primary school , as we did with our older two , but if I'm honest this uncertainty may cause us to rethink that decision.

Steph
