I became a first time mum on the 9th March this year, weve only just moved to ballymoney from Coleraine and I know no-one here.

Im 28 years old, married to Kenny for 2 years, been with him since i was 17. We were told that i would never have a child! So James is our little gift.

James is now 12 weeks old and i am a stay at home mum, I love spending time with James but everything is so new to me and im always scared that I will do something wrong.

My husband is going back to work soon and I think its a great time for me to find some friends. My own friends in Coleraine dont have children, I dont hold the same interests as them anymore. They seem to want me to leave James with my husband and head out, but as many of us mothers know, the hardest thing for a mother is leaving her baby.
