How do i help my 3 year old son to eat a little faster? He eats very healthily but incredibly slowly.

Left to his own devices breakfast (bowl of weetabix topped with shreddies) would take over an hour to eat. Lunch and dinner are very similar.

I find myself having to sit next to him all the time, telling him to put the next mouthful in. On odd occasions putting the food on his fork or spoon so that's it ready and waiting for him (though i draw the line at feeding him).

So what can i do? He doesn't even eat faster when there's other kids around as he's at nursery 4 days per week and he's no better there. He starts school in September and i'm keen to get this sorted out before then.

Thanks
Zarina x
