Just come back from visiting Julie in hospital and the doctors seem to think she has had a stroke. It hasnt affected any of her muscles and looks perfectly normal. She is going to be having a brain scan and MRI, she was hoping it would be today but it wasnt so hopefully it will be tomorrow.

She is the youngest in the ward by around 50 years! Its an old part of the hospital so doesnt have the patientline tvs, there is a tv in the ward but it doesnt work! She has some mags and papers and bits with her to occupy her but is thinking on taking in her laptop if shes in for a while. She still wont have internet but would be able to watch dvds.

She started getting tingling feelings on Saturday night but just went to bed to see if that would help but woke Sunday just the same so when she called NHS 24 they said to get to hospital asap basically.

Shes going to keep me updated and I said id pop back in and see her whenever she needs a visitor, so if i have any news i will let you know.

Katy

Poor Julie, no wonder she`s the youngest on the ward, strokes are usually asscociated with older people she`s far too young for one!!

Anyway, i hope she makes a speedy recovery and is home again soon, she must be missing her kids too.

Keep us updated when you hear anything.

love
