Is it still possible to nurse a 1yr old in a sling or wrap? Ben must be about 19lbs at a guess (assuming he's put on some weight since he was 17lbs at 9 months old).

Right now he's nursing, semi-asleep, and has been for the past hour. I'm freezing and want to put the heating on and make a hot drink and feel a bit glued to the sofa. Normally I wouldn't mind but there are times like now when his nursing sessions and my need to eg start making dinner overlap totally - and he always seems to come first.

Just wondered if anyone had any ideas wrap-wise, otherwise I will have to figure something else out :)

this isn't the one i was thinking of either, but does use a stretchy!  if i find it, i'll post - it had a lady tying a brilliant wrap-tie for feeding a larger baby.  i saw it in an ivillage thread either here or no the AP board i think....

I can BF Katy in a wrap again now. It's great cos she stays sat up (FWCC) but she bends her head down and holds my boob up with her hands, lol. And I can spread the crosses fully so no one sees a thing (I have fed her in public in a wrap a couple of times recently, lol).
