LO's name: Toby

LO's age: 2y 5.5months

Things they have learned recently: Toby's speech is coming on loads. He's starting to say 'it is' rather than 'dat', little things like that that make him sound so grown up. He knows all his colours, and numbers up to 20 but wont do it on 'demand'. He'll describe things he sees, but if you ask him what colour something is he looks at me like 'You KNOW I know that so why are you asking me?!'. He sits and tells stories to himself, and his cousin, using the pictures in the books, and he has learned the hungry caterpillars entire menu

Favourite toy: Probably his building blocks, or his train track.

Favourite game to play with mummy: He likes pretending to do housework. He'll get out his toy vaccume and hoover with me, earlier he asked to do some washing up, so I found him some plastic cups and plates and a spare washing up bowl and tea towel. He likes to pretend to cook me dinner, although he doesnt have a toy kitchen yet. He's pretty inventive and can make me fish fingers and chips from a plastic boat and some bath water :) He also has a colour matching caterpillar building game which he LOVES! He also likes pretending to be a dinosaur and chasing me so he can eat me.

Favourite Nursery rhyme/song: The one with the blackbirds in a pie, or 1 little caterpillar

Favourite food: Humzinger fruit bars

Favourite book: The very hungry caterpillar, or Lark in the ark

LO's name:Matthew

LO's age:2yrs almost 3 months

Things they have learned recently: He has learnt like a MILLION new words, he can even say Alex!!!! Which is a huge step forward because he always called him baby. I love going out for walks with him, he gets so excited seeing the leaves and telling me what colour they are and his favourites are the conkers and the "helicopter" seeds. He can even count down from 10! (i never taught him that he got it off show me show me!) His counting is MUCh better too, we used to only have 23456 but now we have everything but 7(he calls it 6). Colours are really good but he gets mixed up with orange and calls it yellow or red.

Favourite toy: He has 2 favourite toys, a little me to you bear DH got me when Matthew was born and an iggle piggle PJ case. He also loves cars and trains too.

Favourite game to play with mummy: probably would be a game with Alex too, where we tickle him and blow raspberries on his tummy to make him smile :) He loves playing with Alex such a good big brother!

Favourite Nursery rhyme/song: his favourite nursery rhyme has to be twinkle twinkle because he LOVES stars and can do the actions to that 1. As for song, he has a thing for lady gaga's just dance and we end up dancing around the living room (thats such a "feel good" and "dance like nobody's watching" thing, I LOVE IT!!!)

Favourite food: He doesnt like a lot just now and its a struggle to get him to eat anything just now, id say his favourite is chicken or sausage casserole with carrots green beans and mash potato

Favourite book:Guess how much i love you and songs and rhymes from in the night garden.

LO's name:Alexander (Alex)

LO's age: 5.5 months

Things they have learned recently: he found his feet! and he can now roll onto his back easily

Favourite toy: he has this octopus from ELC that plays songs, has crinkley bits at the end of its tenticles, squeaks, rattles... he just loves it!

Favourite game to play with mummy: peekaboo, he seems to think we actually dissapear and jumps a little bit before giggling :)

Favourite Nursery rhyme/song: he doesnt realy have 1 but anything i sing to him makes him smile, i hope its cos he likes my singing ;)

Favourite food: mummy milk!

Favourite book: we have a baby einstein book with mirrors on every page and he loves looking at himself (well he is gorgeous!)

LO's name: Jeremiah

LO's age: 3 years 4 months

Things they have learned recently: His talking is getting better all the time and he's doing really well at walking when we are out, although on the odd occasion I've taken them out with just the single buggy I've ended up having to get the sling out for Isaac and put Jeremiah in the buggy.

Favourite toy: his train set

Favourite game to play with mummy: football, although I'm not very good lol

Favourite Nursery rhyme/song: bouncing up and down on the big red tractor.  He can go on for hours!

Favourite food: toasted crumpets with marmite

Favourite book: anything thomas the tank engine

LO's name: Isaac

LO's age: 18 months

Things they have learned recently: Sitting up although his back is still curved

Favourite toy: his lamaze horse

Favourite game to play with mummy: he loves sitting on my lap facing me and shouting ra-ra-ra and throwing himself backwards.  He's trying to sing row row your boat

LO's name: Daisy

LO's age: 2 years and 2 months.. roughly

Things they have learned recently: Daisys speech is coming on so well, when she says something its like "whoah, wheres my tiny baby gone?" Her counting is coming on well too. She can count up to five perfectly, then its all abit higgldy piggldy. Dais also seems to be learning colours..but everthing is either pink or red lol

Favourite toy: In the night garden toys, shes obsessed, tis slightly disturbing lol

Favourite game to play with mummy: Singing! She'll come and sit on my tummy and ask me to sing the "Daisy song" then twinkle twinkle and a few others.

Favourite Nursery rhyme/song: Dont quite know the name of it so we call it the "Daisy song"..Daisy, daisy give me your answer do, im half crazy all for the love of you..that one!

Favourite food: Shes gone back to the stage of barely eating anything again :( but when she does decide to eat its my mums roast chicken with gravy, mash and veg in a bowl (oddly). Its the only thing i know she'll defo eat.

Favourite book: I dont think there is a definate fav, but she seems to be liking fairy tales, well, more the pictures then anything else.
