Hi folks, i was at my wits end with my daughter who has just turned three, she wasnt interested in using her potty, so i put a piggy bank next to it and told her she would get a penny for a pee pee and for a poo, she was potty trained in three days and marched off to morrisons to spend her pennies on tractor tom ride on machine chuffed to bits with herself ,.

After two weeks i stopped the pennies and she was fine as long as she was getting some praise. Also i bought one of those pottys from argos that looks like an actual loo, i dont like the plastic old ones as they need to squat down to use it and that put my older children off using the real loo after the potty. The fancy potty flushes and has a toilet roll holder just like a grown up toilet. It also tells her when she has done a pee pee (theres a sensor) and praises her up then sings a song telling her how proud she should be. Its really cool. Thats what worked for me xxxxx

If bribery works, use it, is my motto lol.

Just wondering why you bought a fancy potty rather than just using the toilet?  I had a step next to the toilet so my boys could use that.  It saved us from emptying/cleaning the potty all the time, which was great.
