Hi ladies

This board has been so quiet lately and I was wondering how many of you are still around?

I apologise for not being on here much myself, things have been really busy. The children have been ill with coughs and chest infections which has been hard. I went back to work (only 2 days a week), which I'm really enjoying. It's stressful and I barely get time for lunch, but I feel like it's a break!!

Zac is potty training at the moment. We haven't actively done anything, just got him a potty book which he loves reading, and a new car shaped potty. This morning he wee'd on the potty 4 times so we're so proud of him!! He just decided himself. He does it standing up though (obviously copying daddy) but has a very good aim ;o) He's also talking more, and has starting counting. He's a star!

Ethan is growing so quickly. He's moving around the floor, though not quite crawling; plays peekaboo with us; and last night he pulled himself up onto his feet. He's great and learning new things every day.

Hope you're all ok and please post an update when you get a chance.

Take care

Joanne, Zac (26 months) & Ethan (nearly 9 months) xxx

Hi Joanne,

I'm around!!! I often pop on the board to see if there are any posts (I know I should post more, sorry).

Well done Zac, that is so fab about the potty training. It's great when they reach a milestone and it sounds like it is going very well.

Hope the kids are better now. We've had a healthy couple of months here but there is an outbreak of chicken pox in the area so we could end up with that, but I hope not.

Niamh is 17 months tomorrow, she took her first unaided steps on Sunday, but nothing since. She can walk, she just won't - it reminds me of Andy and Lou in Little Britain, I'm convinced she waits for my back to be turned.

Well, just catching up around ivillage while she sleeps, will keep popping on and promise to post stuff too!!

hi :)

sounds hectic but I do remember work as being somewhere I could go to the loo on my own and have a awrm cuppa lol

I used to come on here when it first started but it did seem to peeter. I know we've made contact but I'll reintroduce myself - I'm Sam, 39 living in Cardiff with DH and our 2 LOs, Seren who's 2 and half and Logan who's just 4 months. I feel like I'm just getting the hang of this 2 children lark then the dreaded teething starts!

will try and pop on here more often
