Entry to the chatroom is limited to people who post regularly on HTDD and those that have done for a while.

If you want to join click on this link: http://groups.msn.com/ivillagedating you will be invited to apply to join the chatroom and to create a name for yourself, it's important to choose a name that is the same that you use on the HTDD board.

After that, the three HTDD Cls receive the application request, we then make a decision between us whether to accept or decline the application, based on the TWO criteria mentioned above.

1. If you don't post regularly
2. If you post regularly on other boards but not on this one
3. If you've posted regularly, but only for a month
4. If you've applied with a name we don't recognise
5. If you don't fullfil the TWO criteria mentioned but are good mates with a Cl

...don't waste your time, you won't be accepted.

People talk about personal issues in there and we just want to ensure it's a place where users can relax, socialize, and discuss more general issues without worrying about who's listening/reading. In a similair way in which we keep HTDD a nice place to be, we want to do the same with the messageboard.

Good reminder Magic. Maybe you could copy this post to somewhere at the top of the board, i.e. not as a post but where the link is, to make it clear to people.

On the other hand, maybe it was a bit too 'harsh'? We don't want to scare regular posters off do we? (Thinking KFCFriend here) ;o)

I presume this post wasn't brought about because of any upset at the rejoining of the chatroom by someone who previously cancelled their membership? That person being the person who set up the chatroom for HTDD members in the first place!

Oh how soon we forget - or maybe those that are upset by it just weren't around here so long ago and don't realise.

PS Magic - I heard from Mrs H recently. It seems D is taking a break to spend more time with his family and now has no regular sets. (Is that the right word?) Anyway, they are fine and happy. Give him 6 months and I bet he will be back. ;o)

Actually, I was glad of this link. Usually there is some kind of indication about a link at the top left or wherever, but I can't seem to see it for the life of me. On another board I go to, they were all talking about another link that I couldn't see for the life of me either. Not sure if the set-up looks entirely different according to your computer settings or whether I am just blind (whoops, no offence to anyone who actually is...).
