Message: Do you think that having a flirt with someone other than your partner is OK? Personally I feel that a bit of harmless flirting to liven up the day is fine but you have to be careful not to cross the line!

My DH is a teribble flirt, and I don't think her realises it!!

He just sees it as harmless fun and so do I.

Yes a harmless flirt is great - if you can do it. Boys are usually hopeless at flirting, so one of my exs used to get insanely jealous if I dared even answer another bloke, cos he knew I would start joking "in a dirty flirty way" as he always said.

Of course that just meant I wanted to do it even more. To me, it never meant anything (and the other blokes knew that it was harmless,  particularly if I was WITH a bf), but the ex just COULD NOT handle it. I dumped him (he'd like to think he dumped me - but he couldnlt even do THAT properly!).

Hi,

I think if it's something that you wouldn't do in front of your partner or it's something that if you did in front of them that would hurt them then you shouldn't do it. But if it's just a bit of cheekiness then there's no harm.

Yeh I think I agree with HappyHanna. I flirt whether I'm in a relationship or not. I'm not going to go off for a quickie with a bloke I flirt with. But boyfriends just can't accept that.
