Hi Kelly,
Sorry, I meant to reply earlier but I've been laid up with an awful cold for the last few days. On the road to recovery now, but have come out in horrible coldsores all over my nose :-( It'll take another few days to get rid of them but I'll survive.
Anyway, back to the light of my life :-) I was right, he was having a bit if a meltdown and didn't want to tell me. I sent him an email telling how I was feeling and, low and behold, didn't he head off down to the schools in his town with my CV in tow to ask about what my chances would be like. He was told that I should get in touch with the Department of Education over there. I did that today and we'll see what they say. I think I just have to take it at his pace and be really patient. This is all very new for him (1.that it's an LDR and 2.that he's committed himself to any woman - I am the first girl he's ever introduced to his family and the first girlfriend he's ever had of any kind). So, then last night he sent me a text saying, "Come home to Australia, I need you". It nearly broke my heart...but in a good way. The time has changed over there now so he's nine hours ahead and in a couple of weeks we'll change and it'll be 10 hours. For some reason, that's really upsetting me, but I'll get over that too.
So, all in all, things are looking good. I'll still wait til he comes over to really talk about it and make any definite plans. I just know that although things are less than ideal, I'm so lucky to have him and he makes me so happy. The footie grand final was on today and I was listening to it live on the net while he was watching on TV. It made me feel really close to him.
Hope you had a good weekend and have a good week.
Thanks for everything,
RosGael

My boyfriend in York (silly Uni lol)actually used the phrase "When we move in together...". I know it was probs just a throw away comment (is that the right term? me no no lols) but it made me happy :) <div class="sig">"Thine, ever more" - Hamlet</div>

Hi nuttybutter,
Yeah, it was really sweet. Things are going from strength to strength with us. I've decided to move over there next September at the very latest and he's coming over here in May so it's all really good right now. Plus I got a drunken phone call on Saturday evening telling me how much he loved and missed me and that he wants to marry me!!!! I don't care what anyone says, drunk people always tell the truth LOL :)))) Funny thing is, I would marry him in a hearbeat. Plus he sent me some stuff in the post last week and I'm like a little kid on Christmas Eve waiting for Santa to deliver the presents. I can't wait to see what it is.
Oh, I think your guy really did mean WHEN you move in together. See, men are far less complicated than we are and they say things they mean, I reckon. That's my story and I'm sticking to it :) Anyway, it's the little things that make us happy most of the time, not the big romantic gestures. It is in my case at least.

Awws!!! How exciting XD That IS true, I have found that drunk people tend tell the truth, so the idea is no doubt roaming his subconcious hehe :) I hope so, even if it will take 4ish years to happen (we're both 18, he's just started uni and I'm starting next year if I don't fail my exams/auditions epically LOL). But I guess 4 years is nothing compared to being with him forever afterwards. Yep, defo agreeing with you about the little things, on both sides of the relationship. E.g. my boyfriend used to write me post it notes saying I love you and stuff on them. So I decided to get my own back. On the night he was leaving to go back to Uni, just before he came to my house, I wrote a stack of post it notes saying I love you and loadsa other soppy mush (hehe)and hid them in a case of a dvd he was gonna borrow. Then tonight on skype, I asked him to check that the disk was in there and if there were any scratches underneath. So he looked and didn't clock the BRIGHT ORANGE post it note pile for a while(bless him). But when he did, he was reduced to squeaking and awwing for the next ten or so minutes. I couldn't help but squeak back it him (he was soooo adorable) Glad things are going funkies at your end :) btw, we did your tv-in-sync thing (but with Doctor who- we're nerds/big kids and proud lol). It felt sooo amazing XD <div class="sig">"Thine, ever more" - Hamlet</div>
