Hi ladies!

It's so quiet on here at the moment! Where are you all hiding?!

We had a not too great weekend, DH and DD both had a stomach bug which resulted in me also catching it...So I had a weekend of being ill with the other 2, thanks for that!

Luckily we are now feeling a lot better, it is the 65 year anniversary of the liberation of Holland this weekend so we have (especially me!) a lot of shows to play. There are going to be a lot of veterans from the uk over, which for them is kind of like a school outing where they just stay up late and get drunk! Always a laugh to see!

And my parents are coming over to visit on Thursday for 4 days, which just also happens to be my 30th birthday! So of course looking forward to that(although not to turning 30...:-( )

Sorry to hear about your less than ideal weekend. Those stomach bugs are so contagious, but the 'plus' side is they don't usually last as long as something like flu I suppose!

I had a nice weekend, which as usual went too quickly. Spent it with my man, and we had his DS for part of it too so we took him to see Up - great film, I thoroughly recommend it even if you don't have kids!

My bf and I are no closer to being able to move in together sadly, and I'm still up and down like a yo-yo about that.

We decided a couple of months ago, as I'd had no joy getting a job in his city, that he would try to get a job near me. Then, last week his boss gave him a speech about the big plans she's got for him. She also mentioned she'd noticed he wasn't 100% lately, so if you ask me she's done this carrot-dangling because she knows he wants to leave! They're due to talk again this week anyway. If she puts her money where her mouth is and actually gives him the pay rise he deserves then I guess we're back to me trying to move up there.

I can seriously see us still being LD by the time our 2 year anniversary comes round in August and the thought thoroughly depresses me tbh :-(

Sorry to hear bout your tummy bugs, hope you feeling better now and enjoying your birthday cellebrations!

I have been very busy, keeping busy  deliberatly to make the last few weeks fly by before my oh comes back from afghan, have been learning to drive in a intensive course got my driving test this friday  ahhhh and then my oh should be bk from afghan sat wahoooooooooo! It has been a very long 5 months with rubbish contact so cant wait to have him near! and safely in my arms.

so then I will go back from a very very very LDR to a semi long distance relationship lol, although he is going to stay with me for 3 weeks as he has 3 weeks leave so he will be there everyday every night when I goes to bed and every morning when i wake up for 3 weeks sooooo looking forward to it, hen we will go bk to weekend relationship with him 2hrs away after that.

So thats pretty much what I have been upto lol, work and intensive driving test busy busy.
