Lol well i starting to realise the services love to stress you out and take you on emotional rollercoaster he he.

Other month my oh was told he was coming home from afghan a month early we me and his folks etc all very excited stupidly lol started the countdown ie 30 days wahoo and were looking forward to it to then be told  1 week later sorry you have been extended 7 weeks  hmmmm was not amused he was so worried bout telling me n his folks and how id react. So we started new countdown from 7weeks and low and behold, my grandad died recently.

 Then 1 week later had call from dear oh bearing more bad news! I was like what now they not extending you again are they? he was like no im being posted, he not sue to be posted for another 3 yrs so was bit shocked to north yorkshire! im in gosport near portsmouth so miles away. We not married so no quarters for me just yet, but he didnt want to be that far apart so asked me to move up there with him. We did lot of talking as im at important part of career, where wud we live etc what bout job he said we could afford to rent together on his wages alone till i got a job and wouldnt be renting for long before married anyway then would be in quarters (hmm he is hinting lot at mo to the not being long hopefully ring will apear soon as we have talked bout where when and most details of wedding anyhow just need to make it official lol) and after researching through the council found out they crying out for special needs teachers so all gd started making plans and i was very excited as love yorkshire have family there and always wanted to live there and I decided to move with him.

Then just few days ago he calls again, he said sorry more bad news i was like oh go on hit me with it lol and he said not being posted JPA cockup lol, confused his nearly being in 7years and needeing bonus with being at odiham 7 years and so having to be posted as only tend to be odiham 5years, but surely the drafter a human should have noticed he hasnt even been in 7years let alone there 7 years but no lol didnt bother checking till later on and retracted the draft! lol so now not moving staying put lol.

Just feelign like been on emotional rollercoaster at mo he he im kind of waiting for the next thing, oh the joys us service miss'es have to go through hey!

Oh the joys, don't you just love it all and you have to laugh at it otherwise you'd cry wouldn't you.

We've been through something similar this year, Dh was told he was going to Canada, but that meant he would be away for the birth of his daughter so we enquired and eventually he was taken off Canada so he could be here only to be told that he was going on exercise quite a distance away two weeks before my due date and wouldn't be back until after, honestly we couldn't believe it.

As it happens I was in hospital so he didn't have to go because we've two other children so he had to be home for them.

The posting issue we had last year and then when they got that right they messed up our accomodation, put us in a fourth floor flat, my dd1 was due to have an operation on her knee so couldn't walk upstairs, we still ended up 2 floors up but never mind at least we finally got somewhere to live.

Really hope they sort things out and that they stay sorted, sorry to hear about the loss of your grandad that must've been a tough time with your OH being away. Hope the ring 'appears' soon though and that your Oh is back with you soon (If he isn't already)

Yes you do have to laugh or indeed u would cry lol.

oh my not good wih the taking off canada to then be away when baby born sooo typical im finding lol no method to their madness lol.

lol as to flat housing issue u not first to say that my word even 2nd floor hard with young one in cast! like said at least u got somwhere in end even if not ideal and blinking silly lol

Thank u to kind words bout dear grandad was definalty hard as i was extremely close to both granny his wife who died last year and him very very close they like 2nd parents almost so was big blow and was very hard as my oh wasnt here! he felt it as he was very close to grandad didnt meet gran unfortunatly b4 she died but know she wud approve thru useful info advice she gave me and well lets just  say she advised me to sterr clear of a certain service as leads to tears which did previously 3 times over and get with nice raf man lol and  to stay clear of southern softies n get with northan laddie as they know how to treat lady lol and u have to kiss fair few frogs b4 ur prince who is out there n she was right he he,  he is raf and northan and did have to kiss fair few frogs b4 found him lol so know she wud approve he he, but he thought lot of grandpa as he ex servce so hd lot in common and grandad thankfully approved he he he of him. But managed all beit wished he was there at funeral n just to cuddle me when had news everyone else had bf's gf's or hubbys i was on own but hey ho that serrvice life h he.

He not home yet but will be in 3 weeks yeyeye!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Small world! lol is ur oh navy? mine raf lol so not many of them in gosport haha, thank you for posting. How are you? and how do you like gosport? Ive lived here for 4 years now just under. Where bouts you live? ie area wise wudnt recomend streets on here.
