Hi Ladies.

Well I got my scan date through and it also says that will be my booking app too if i haven't seen my community midwife by then, which I won't have done and I don't even know who she is or if I've got one!!!

It's all very different to anything i've heard of and it's confused me soooo much. My GP surgery doesn't know anything, they just say the antinatal team will contact me. So I don't even have a number for a MW if I need one!

I looked on MDjune and there's another girl from Lincoln who has the same thing.

I dunno, i guess it'll all be fine but I just thought I'd see a MW about now ish. My Scan date is for 24th Nov when I'll be 11weeks.

Oh and it says on letter it's £5 per photo!!!!! WTF!?

wohoooooooooooooooooo how cool that is like 2 weeks away or something??? nothing wohooooo hey - the scan is MUCH better than the booking in appt - that one is boring but im surprised but perhaps they give yo longer and do it all there in one go? would make sense i guess if they had the facility?

Perhaps ring your GP if you are concerned and check it is right that you have a scan with the scanning lady?? coz i think i had blood tests an pee sample etc????

wohoooooooooooo OMG you are having you scan that is SOOO cool! how far along are you now do you think???? i dont think you are far behind me are you?  im 16 weeks tomorrow.....

YAY hun im so excited for you its AWESOME!

Hey re teh price i know!! shocking huh! ALSO dont forget cash for your hospital parking if its anything like mine its a RIP off!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi hun.

It says on letter that the appointment will take 2-2.5 hours so I have the scan and the booking app all in one go. I'm excited for it but a little confused about the protocol here, it's so different from other areas.

Our parking charges are horendous!!!! Also the mat wing is with the obs, gyny and geriatrics and has only 30 parking spaces! My mum was in there 2 years ago and parking was a nightmare, i ended up walking 1/2 mile from the main hospital most days or just dumping the car on the roadside! lol. I can just see me going into labour and waddling, doubled over for 1/2 mile! pmsl!!!

I'm 8 weeks tomorrow by the doc's calculations at the moment but won't know for sure til scan cos my cycle hadn't settled properly so I don't know how long each one should've lasted iykwim.

On an other note i'm jealous of all these people with fireworks tonight, we're not going anywhere til tomorrow, i keep sneaking a look at my neighbours ones. lol.

You should feel squiggle moving around pretty soon! Now that is exciting!!! The thing I can't wait for is lying in bed with my belly pressed against DH's back and bubs to kick him, so cool huh?

Oh, the one thing I'm learning is Mind Over Matter. Like if I feel sick, i'll do something to take my mind off it. If I feel tired I'll open the door and get some air ans shake it off if i can't rest right then. So far it's working wonders, may need something a bit more scientific when it comes to labour though eh?!

Oh wicked well thats def all in one then so that is BRILL! dont worry its not the same as other places - so long as it all gets done is all that matters AND it really soon! WOHOOOOO! OMG you must be mega excited!

yeah my hospital is SHITE with parking too! bloody rip off if you are one of the "lucky" ones who gets a space! LOL

Well done with the mind over matter really good huh! i found playing some music helped me to get into my rock chick mode and forget about any sickness - apart from when i was at work that was when it was worst!!! LOL especsh as i hadnt told them then! dont worry the sickness goes - mine has anyway for a good month now i think?

i havent seen any fireworks and dont think i will be this yea!! im in middle of baking xmas cake so best get on!! LOL ciao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
