Just a couple of notes of caution. Be very careful when using drinks and foods containing sugar if they come into contact with the vagina. Sugar can disturb the natural environment of the vagina and lead to the growth of yeast - which can mean thrush. Also do bear in mind that Sexually Transmitted Infections can be passed on during oral sex - So always be safe.

1. Every woman is different. Find out what she likes best…. Doesn’t matter if your ex liked it hard and fast, she may not! This is by no means a step-by-step guide… just to give you some ideas!

2. Don’t be lazy! There’s not much worse than having to ask for oral from someone who doesn’t seem keen. Even if you always oblige, us women like to think that you’re doing it because you want to and not because we asked!! So be proactive and take control of her!

3. Don't go straight for her genitals. Try and seduce her slowly first – run your fingers down her stomach, through her hair, kiss her in unusual places, like her neck and kiss your way down her body, not forgetting her breasts and then flick her nipples with your tongue. This will get her really turned on before you start the real action.

4. You could then try teasing her with light kisses and possibly gentle nibbling on the insides of her thighs.

5. Get close so that she thinks you're going to zero in on her at any second, but don't give in immediately.

6. Be aware that it can get very sensitive down there just before and during orgasm but again by how much varies - don't be embarrassed to ask how she’s feeling.

7. Look enthusiastic!! There’s nothing worse and more off-putting that thinking your partner is blatantly thinking of something else, like the football scores or what’s for dinner!

27. It sounds obvious but listen carefully to what she says and the sounds she makes. If she sounds excited, keep doing what you're doing for as long as you can. When she seems to respond less, it's time to try a new stroke.

28. Play with her breasts and twiddle her nipples with a spare hand at the same time!

29. With your free hand, hold her hand while you are performing oral on her.

31. The G-Spot…. Located a couple of inches in the vagina on the front wall. Insert a couple of fingers and try and find a fleshy area, then do a “come here” motion with your fingers! Remember that the “spot” increases in size according to her arousal so get her warmed up first.

32. Using your finger(s) and tongue at the same time is a winning combination. I can’t empathise this enough!
