Ive have been with my partner for almost 10 years
(we have both had our ups and downs in our relationship)
i was on here recently talking abt my affair (and also his from over a year ago)
we have sorted out what happened between the affairs
But the problem with sex has been an issue for a long time even before either of us cheated
we have wiped the slate clean now and i really want us both to get back on track this time properly
so anyway the problem with our sex life is that he wants it all the time and i just dont seem to be able to get in the mood for it (and as you can imagine this cause a problem)
i love my husband and i do find him attractive but im still left no feeling in the mood, its hard to explain
I have tried a couple of different things to try and get things heated up
i have tried taking tablets that have meant to give you a boost (they didnt really do anything)
i have tried buying new underwear to mix things up a bit and make me feel sexy but that only works sometimes
doing it in different places (instead of thinking going to bed means having sex)
different positions

Im stuck i dont know what to do, i keep thinking i must be abnormal or something because most other ppl i know that are in a relationship seem to have a health sex life
Ours was great in the beginning but i dont know what went wrong

Hi and welcome to the board...

It is normal to have a low sex drive - you are by no means a freak of nature!

Could you lack of sex drive be a knock on effect from yours and your husbands affairs do you think? It could be the betrayal of the affair is still effecting you subconsciously etc...

Maybe seek the advice from somewhere like Relate as this can really help get things out in the open and get you talking about things that you may not even be aware of that is causing a problem....

Its gd to know im not a freak of nature for having a low sex drive =D

I think now the affairs might be a problem but i dont know why it was like this before that happened

Im going to speak to my other half and check out the relate website and see if we can both get some help

As i said everything else is slowly getting back on track but the sex just seems to stay the same he wants it 24/7 nd for some reason i dnt have that drive
