I've been away a while as previously mentioned, and seem to have lost track with pretty much all the names on the board now :(

I would love to get to know you all and make some friends on the board, so would be great if you could all tell me a bit about yourselves and your weddings :)

I'm fairly new to the board but just wanted to say hi! We're not getting married untill Aug 6th 2010 although it seems to be drawing nearer than I thought! We have our venue booked and I am going dress shopping next month, so am starting(much to my amazement!) to get excited. We have 2 kids aged 5 and 11 who can't wait for mam and dad to get married!!! Have had a few hiccups but it seems to be going okay.

How about you- how long untill your big day?- sorry if you've already posted this but would love to hear all about it!

Sorry, the board is so quiet these days, I think we've passed wedding season so all the weddings seem qquite far away at the moment/ I'm not sure!!!

I'm Hayley, I've been married to Dan for 1 month and 2 days!! We have a DD Alex who's 3 and we live in the North East. We got married in Zante, and I would recommend a destination wedding to anyone!! It was so stressfree, after having a reception at home too, I 100% recommend abroad!! Our wedding was so relaxed, we had 38 people there and it was the perfect number. I did a lot myself, I made our invitations, buttonholes, and bouquets. We had our reception in a barm, with a lovely 3 course meal, dancing, candy buffet and lovely family and friends!
