A very interesting subject indeed CJC.  The internet can be such a wonderful help for so many things and sites such as ivillage which are well run and generally safe are great!  However, i do feel many people, and not only the young, can be caused great pain and upset by the net and i do hope it will be a more safer place for all eventually.  I think it will take many years before that happens, personally.  I would like to think that it would happen far sooner.  Not all sites have good rules and customer service (such as this one) in place.  A good balance too of interacting in the 'real world' as well as online is needed - especially for younger people and that has to be promoted i think.
