Message: Hi,
The only software I have had to use is microsoft word and excel although for some courses you may need powerpoint. I would advise you to contact your education provider before buying anything as it is really expensive and if your work will be marked as a printout there are some free versions online.

Hi there,

I'm going to qualify as a paediatric nurse in 4 weeks (ahhhh!) and I have windows vista. All I have used throughout my training is microsoft word to type up assignments and powerpoint for group work presentations. You shouldn't need much more - don't buy anything unless you really need to, you should be able to use Uni computers too.

Good luck in your training.

Hi

Also remember that a lot of universities offer deals to get cheap student microsoft packages, but i would definately say that you need word, excel and powerpoint.

Good luck with your studies
