Mostly that type of data entry advert is just to sell you information telling you how you can do "data entry work" (as they call it) which you then find out is just a book telling you how to advertise other people's products on Google Adwords. So they'll tell you about affiliate networks, who have lists of products you can sell - and how to write good adverts to place on Google Adwords.
Both these things you can find out free for yourself, if you've a bit of nous, all the advertising companies are doing is bringing together a book telling you how to write adverts and a list. What it actually involves is you picking a product to sell, then you paying to advertise in Google Adwords and if somebody buys a product from your advert then you get paid ... it can be expensive if you don't spend a few weeks learning how to write and test good adverts. I googled and found this free book that tells you how to do it: Adwords Made Easy, Matt Callen
There is real data entry work out there, but it's actually called freelance work. This is where real websites/companies who have actual data entry work that wants doing, advertise their vacancies and you "bid" for the work, which means you see if you can do it and you quote your price... if they pick you then you do the work and are paid. A website wi th data entry jobs filtered out is http://jobsforhomeworkers.com/category/freelance-admin/data-entry-jobs-freelance-admin - and there are no fees to pay to join, so you can look through and apply without any charges at all (always a better idea).
I myself have done freelance data entry work like this, doing one-off short jobs usually copying/pasting lists of information together for websites who are creating directories, or where people are creating online shops and they have 1000-2000 products to input.
Good luck with the move!
